UPSEE Counselling 2015 commenced on 16 June 2015

Likewise every year, a huge number of candidates appeared in UPSEE this year as well. The result for the exam has been released and the candidates those who have qualified the exam will now have to attend the UPSEE Counselling 2015 so that a seat can be allotted to them on the basis of options provided by them. Candidates will be able to take admission in one of the various engineering courses available for them. Only qualified candidates will be allowed to attend the counselling round. They will have to attend it as per their schedule. Other details for the counselling, various rounds of counselling, counselling schedule are provided below in the article.

UPSEE Counselling has started from 16 June 2015. It will continue till 11 August, provided that the seats are vacant till the last round of counselling.
Candidates need to download their counselling letter from the website by entering their roll number, birth date and course as well. Moreover they will have to get their documents verified and make fees payment as well.

Counselling process will comprise of various steps like choice filling, document verification, seat allotment, locking of choices, seat confirmation, etc. Candidates will have to go through all the rounds if they want to get a seat in counselling round. Candidates those who are applying through JEE Main 2015 quota will have to register themselves online.

The complete UPSEE 2015 Counselling process is provided in this section. Qualified candidates will first have to download the counselling letter by entering their roll number, birth date, etc. Then the candidates will have to go to the verification centers for their document verification. Verification centers has been set up by UPTU. Candidates can visit these centers as per their schedule. Candidates will have to submit original document along with a set of photocopies of these documents. They need to submit the counselling letter at the verification center and deposit the counselling fees as well. They will have to submit 500/- as counselling fees. It can be paid via DD only. Once the documents has been verified, an OTP will be sent to the candidates which will be required for logging in for choice filling round.

• UPSEE 2015 Online Registration slip (required only for JEE Main candidates)
• Class XII Marks sheet
• Class XII/HSC Certificate
• Character certificate
• Certificate of Medical Fitness / Undertaking of Medical Fitness
• Domicile certificate (if applicable).
• Category certificate for  OBC/SC/ST (if applicable).
• Subcategory certificate for Freedom fighters/Armed forces/Physically handicapped (if applicable).
• Income certificate for economically weak candidates (if applicable).
• GDDA category certificate (if applicable).
• Rural Weight-age certificate (if applicable).

Next in UPSEE Counselling 2015, candidates will have to fill their choices for the colleges and courses. They can make any number of choices. These choices must be in the decreasing order of their preference. Candidates can edit their choices till the last date of choice filling. After that they need to lock these choices after which no alteration will be allowed.

Seat will be allotted to the candidates on the basis of options filled by them and their merit as well. Once the seat has been allotted to the candidate, they must report to that particular institute and complete all the admission formalities in time. Candidates will have to carry all the documents with them along with the allotment letter. Candidates must confirm their seat as soon as possible otherwise it will be set vacant for the other counselling rounds. Admission fees must also be paid by them.
