UPSEE 2015 Answer Key to be released on or before 20 May 2015
UPSEE 2015 is a state level entrance exam conducted for allotting admissions into undergraduate engineering courses and other professional courses. Admissions will be made against the seats available in colleges/institutions affiliated to UPTU on the basis of UPSEE 2015 scores. The UPSEE 2015 entrance exam is scheduled to be held on 18 & 19 April 2015.
The UPSEE Result along with the UPSEE 2015 Answer Key for 2015 entrance examination will be announced by UPTU on or before 20 May 2015. Separate answer keys will be uploaded for all the papers. These will be uploaded in the pdf format on the official UPTU web portal for the candidates to download. Various other private coaching institutes also publish and release unofficial UPSEE Answer Keys. Such unofficial answer keys will be available widely over the internet for the candidates to download. The appearing candidates of the UPSEE 2015 examination can use these UPSEE 2015 Answer Key for reviewing/matching their attempted answers with that of the answers given in the answer key. Reviewing the answers gives the candidates an idea of the probable score that they will be able to score.
For self estimating the scores, the candidates while reviewing the answers will be required to keep adding marks for every correct answer given and deducting marks from the total for every wrong answer given. 4 marks each will be awarded for every correct response marked. Candidate should just mark one answer for any particular question but in case if more then one response is marked by the candidate, then that question will be considered to be wrongly answered and no marks will be awarded. However, no negative marking will apply for UPSEE 2015 examination.
The UPSEE 2015 entrance examination will be conducted for 12 papers and will comprise of multiple choice questions except the drawing test (Part B of paper 4). Paper 1, 2 & 3 will carry 600 marks. Paper 4 will carry 500 marks, Papers 5-8 will be marked out of 300 marks and the Papers 9-12 will be marked out of 400 marks. Candidates will have to choose the respective UPSEE Paper to be taken up by them as per the choice of the course they will be willing to pursue and sought admissions into.
The UPSEE merit list will also be prepared upon the performance of the candidates in the examination after the declaration of the UPSEE 2015 Result. The merit position, score card displaying the total marks and the marks obtained by the candidate individually in every subject will be uploaded on the UPTU official website as and when the result will be declared.
The UPSEE 2015 cutoff percentage of marks for the merit of successful candidates is 25% for General/OBC and 20% for SC/ST as per UP State Govt order. Successful candidate who will be called upon for counseling according to their merit in UPSEE 2015 will be notified via official website. However, the allotment of seat shall depend on the availability of seat on the day of counseling.
