United Airlines Reservations winning hearts with Premium Plus

The newest addition in the United Airlines Premium Plus, aka the “purple section,” for the distinctive color of the seats, has been coming into existence over the past few months in terms of the hard goods being installed on United’s long-haul international wide body fleet (some of which fly transcontinental domestic routes too). You will find the new seats on most 777s and all 787-10 aircraft (new for United’s fleet, which just received the first one). Premium Plus is offered on 21 Trans-Atlantic, Trans-Pacific, and South American routes by the end of this month (May 2019). All planes with Premium Plus also have the newest Polaris business class, and UA Airline says that on average it will be adding one such aircraft every 10 days. 

The option of United Premium Plus is available only on selected flights. The airlines have designed this class especially to fit more space comfort and amenities than regular economy into their budget. The seats at a premium plus are placed closer to the front of the aircraft and are more spacious with additional legroom, elbow room and recline. The premium benefits of traveling are listed below.

The seats here have the following features

·      38 inch Seat pitch more legroom which is up to 7 inches more legroom

·      6 inch Seat Recline that is up to 3 inches more recline  

·      Up to 19 inch Seat width that is Up to 2 inches wider
