Understanding the language of the cat

If you want to own a cat or have got a new kitten in your home, you must be worried about how to take care of it. Well, there are several ways of taking care of the cat. You at first need to learn it to make the cat comfortable in your home. Generally, a cat doesn’t make much sound or don’t bother its own much. But if they don’t get food on time or feel threatened by something, they react terribly. However, you have to understand every posture, sounds and everything your cat make to attract yourself. They have different body language, verbal sounds in the different situation. If you observe your cat closely, you can identify everything within few days. You also need to talk to a cat to make it familiar with your tone so that whenever you call, it comes to you. If you continuously talk to your cat, command it everything by saying and pointing things together, trust me, it will be a great pet. Here I will discuss the different physical action of the cat which should be known to understand the language of the cat.

Purring

One of the common technique of the cat to express their feeling is purring. Cat purrs at the different situation to seek the attention from its owner. Many people think, they only purr when they get angry. But that is not right actually. Most of the time they do it when they are hungry. You need to maintain a proper time cycle to feed your cat. Otherwise, it will make noise and do the unnecessary movement. When they feel irritated or threatened they also purr. However, you should give special attention to your cat when it feels disturbs and purrs in front of you.

The paw swipe

Paw swiping is also a common reaction of a cat to show its displeasure or irritation or anger.  When your cat feels unwanted or unattended or unprotected, it does such behaviors. You should immediately focus on your cat seeing his paw swiping on the mat. However, sometimes they do it for no reason as a part of the play. You should also understand it, what it is doing for which reason.

Meowing

The cat is one of the most pampering pets. It just needs comfort. A comfortable and warm bed is most lovable to the cat. Most of the cats do not make any unnecessary sound. They want to live in peace and let others live in peace. But some cats are completely different. They make the different type of noise to express different types of feelings of themselves. You need to understand with its sound what it wants to say.

Tail movement

You also can tell about many things seeing the tail of the cat. When the tail is high, it is happy and full of energy. The lower tail indicates an unhappy, angry and sad cat.
