Ultrasonic Camera Gas Leak Detection Solution|SM INSTRUMENTS

by Professional Writer Professional Writer

SM Instruments Inc. is an expert in the industry of sound and vibration measurements and instrumentation. It is a Gold Alliance Partner of National Instruments of US since the foundation in 2006.

Now Gas Leak Detection Solution, Ultrasonic Camera, Sound Camera are available in SM Instruments Inc.

SM Instruments BATCAM 2.0 Ultrasonic camera

BATCAM 2.0 is the lightest and smallest ultrasonic and acoustic sound camera. This rugged, versatile tool can quickly and easily identify a variety of undesirable industrial conditions. With pinpoint accuracy the BATCAM 2.0 instantly visualizes to see audible and ultrasonic noises that are hard to detect.

With 112 MEMS based precision microphones, the BATCAM 2.0 will clearly detect the gas leakage.

Gas leaks result in higher ultrasonic components than audible frequency. Ultrasonic components also occur when electric discharge occurs. Therefore, it is possible to measure the presence and location of gas leaks or electric discharge by measuring the ultrasonic components in a noisy environment.

SM Instrument BATCAM 2.0 can measure the gas leakage flow rate of50cc/min (0.0018 CFM) at a distance of 1 m and the leakage flow rate of 110cc/min (0.0039 CFM) at a distance of 10 m. If the leakage flow is greater, it can be measured from a longer distance.

Advanced technology features of SM Instruments BATCAM 2.0 Ultrasonic camera

ü  Easy to use: BATCAM provides an intuitive visual output that anyone can understand without training

ü  Quick to diagnose: BATCAM can detect a wider angle and locate multiple sound sources at the same time

ü  Accurate to detect the Ultrasonic sound: As high-pressured gas passed through a small crack in the pipe, the vibration generates ultra-sonic waves. The sensor arrays of BATCAM analyze the intensity and sequence of the received signals to locate the sound source

ü  Adjustable to optimize the detection range: Through numerous tests, it is optimized the frequency detection range of BATCAM. As a result, BATCAM can detect accurate location of gas leaks in an outdoor environment

SM Instruments SeeSV-S206W Sound camera

SeeSV-S206W is a real-time sound camera that implements FPGA-based high-speed beamforming technology.  This hand-held ultra-compact small and light sound camera boasts excellent performance with touch-based user interface even in normal noise. It can capture 25 images per second and the high sensitivity microphone instantly detects even small noises. BSR (noise and joint) noise source detection as well as NVH (sound, vibration, discomfort) noise sources can be visually displayed on SeeSV-S206W.

Remarkable technology features of SM Instruments SeeSV-S206W Sound camera

ü  Real-Time sound imaging

ü  High Speed imageupdate per 25FPS

ü  Optimized for BSR Detection

ü  Background Noise Removal (Noise Gate)

ü  Selective Listening for Noise Source

ü  Effective Post Processing

ü  FFT and Octave Analysis

ü  Mobile function through Web Service
