With this visa, the investor cannot work for anybody else other than his own business or claim public funds.

Sole Representative Visa

A representative an overseas business can come to UK if the sole representative plans to set up a branch of the business in UK. This can be utilized by an employee of newspaper or broadcasting agency too. It takes 3 months before the VISA is sanctioned. This visa is applicable for 3 years and can further be extended by 2 more years. After the 5 years of living in UK, one can apply for permission to settle permanently in UK. The employer can bring his or her immediate family to UK on this VISA.
