A t-shirt is one of the most comfortable and most flexible attire to wear on. The individual will have complete flexibility in where to wear a t-shirt. T-shirt or tee shirt is named after its stylish T-shape of the attire. The T-shirt was earlier considered as an undergarment by US nave in the 19th century, after the 19th century it started considered as a regular casual attire which can be worn occasionally. The word t-shirt was included in the dictionary in 1920 and was also included in the American English language in the same year. Printed t-shirts have become one of the most worn attire these days. After the boom in online shopping, which was in late 2000, printed t-shirts came into demand and forced suppliers to have new t-shirt designs and trends. By the time the manufacturing of printed t-shirts became art as it requires creativity and an innovative mind. Printing and manufacturing t-shirts got easy when automated machines were introduced for manufacturing. After a certain period of time, manufacturers started using laser cutting and water jet cutting for manufacturing printed t-shirts. There are majorly three types of t-shirt categories available in the market:

Round Neck T-Shirt: Round neck t-shirt design is the first in the t-shirt category. It was earlier considered as an undergarment by the US Navy and then came into the trend as a casual attire after the spread of online shopping in the year 2000. It is also known as a crew neck t-shirt but named a round-necked t-shirt because of its round-shaped neck hole without a collar. Later came the trend of printing designs on these t-shirts and called printed t shirts or designer t-shirts.

V-Neck T-Shirt: As the name says it all, a round-shaped neck is round neck t-shirt and V-shaped neck is called a V-Neck t-shirt. V-neck t-shirt was introduced after round neck t-shirt and are popular among people who have a lean body.

Polo T-shirt: Polo t-shirts have a collar on the neck area. Why polo t-shirt and not a collar t-shirt? The polo word was taken in effect because earlier the polo game was played wearing this t-shirt, so it is named after the sport polo. The fabric used in the polo t-shirt is slightly different from the one used in round neck and v neck t-shirts. The polo t-shirt is the only t-shirt which contains buttons on it. As like round neck t-shirt and v neck t-shirt, polo t-shirt is also short-sleeved.
