It is easy to wear and can be considered as an alternative to casual jackets. One can describe it as a sweatshirt having a hood. But, there is a difference between a sweatshirt and a hoodie. A hoodie will always have a hood. So, do not get confused by the similar looks.
- The Modern Hoodie: The modern-style hoodie adds different amusing elements to the traditional type of hoodie. As per the modern style, anything can be added to the hoodie such as a zipper can be replaced with a button or any other change that makes it look modern and different. A drawstring may or may not be attached to the hoodie in the modern version.
