Think shrimp is too complicated or fancy for an easy weeknight meal for your family? Think again! Shrimp cooks up fast, making it the perfect healthy protein for quick and easy dinners. Here are two favorites that are sure to please your hungry family:
Low-Country Shrimp Boil
This is a classic shrimp boil recipe. It takes less than one hour, start to finish and only uses one pot, so cleanup is a breeze. It serves six people. A crisp green side salad and a loaf of chewy sourdough bread round out this meal nicely.

Ingredients:
• 12 oz frozen SeaPak® Shrimp Scampi
• 2 lbs small red potatoes, quartered
• 16 oz smoked sausage, cut into 16 pieces. We like kielbasa or andouille or a mix of both.
• 2 tbsp crab boil seasoning. Our favorite is Old Bay.
• 6 frozen mini corn cobs. You can leave these as they are or halve them.
Directions:
1. Bring 10 cups of water to boil in a large pot.
2. Add crab boil, potatoes, and sausage. Bring to a boil and then simmer at medium low for 20 minutes.
3. Add corn and simmer for 10 minutes.
4. Add frozen shrimp and continue simmering for 3 minutes more or until the shrimp are fully cooked.
5. Drain and serve.
Easy Shrimp Alfredo
You’re certain to impress with this tasty shrimp recipe. It’s fresh, it’s delicious, and it’s easy. You can have this unforgettable pasta dish whipped up and ready in about 30 minutes. Top it off with fresh Parmesan shavings and you’re ready to go!
Ingredients:
• 12 oz package frozen SeaPak® Popcorn Shrimp
• Broccoli florets, 2 cups fresh or 1 pound frozen
• 1/2 pound uncooked fettuccine noodles
• 4 oz cream cheese, cut into about eight pieces
• 1/4 grated Parmesan cheese
• 3/4 cup milk
• 1/4 cup unsalted butter
• 1/4 tsp salt
Directions:
1. Preheat your oven to 450F.
2. Place a large pot of water for the pasta to boil.
3. While the oven is heating and the water is coming to a boil, arrange shrimp in a single, non-touching layer on a baking sheet. Prep your broccoli; cook according to package directions if frozen.
4. When the oven is hot, bake the shrimp for 10-11 minutes, turning after 5.
5. Cook fettuccine noodles according to package directions.
6. While the shrimp and noodles are cooking, start the sauce. In a medium saucepan, mix cream cheese, milk, Parmesan cheese, butter, and salt until the cheese and butter are completely melted and everything is mixed smoothly.
7. Drain the pasta and return to the pan.
8. Add the sauce to the pasta and coat evenly. Add cooked shrimp and broccoli and serve immediately.
