Turn PDF into Flipbook for these 5 Reasons

by Linda S Johnson Blogger

A digital flipbook is a collection of pages that can be viewed as a slideshow by the viewer. The pages are normally linked together so when one page is viewed, it automatically goes to the next page (if done in settings). No doubt, a digital flipbook is an amazing alternative to PDFs. A digital flipbook maker is required to turn PDF into flipbook. You can find a number of flipbook makers online.

Paper flipbooks have been around for hundreds of years, and were first used as a way to show animated pictures. They were also used to showcase advertisements in newspapers and magazines. Today, they are replaced with digital flipbooks and are mainly used for marketing purposes and as an alternative way of advertising products or services.

Digital flipbooks have become more popular over the past few years because they are very easy to use, they don’t need any special software or hardware, and they can be shared easily on social media websites such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Why do you need to turn PDF into flipbook?

There are multiple reasons for this, some of which are mentioned below:

1. Not easily editable

Because PDF files are simply image files, they can't be edited as easily as other types of files such as Word documents or digital flipbooks. You will also have problems when trying to add pictures or other graphics to your PDFs.

2. Not interactive

PDFs don't work well for interactive documents. When you create a document in the digital flipbook format, you can easily add hyperlinks to other pages within that document and even create interactive elements such as forms and quizzes. These features aren't available in PDFs, so if you need an interactive document, you can turn PDF into flipbook.

3. Need the latest version of PDF viewer

If you are sending a PDF to someone else, there is no guarantee that they will have the software required to open it. For instance, if you send them a PDF document through email and they don’t have Adobe Reader, which is what most people use to view PDFs, they won’t be able to see it. Even if they do have Adobe Reader installed, they might not have the latest version installed or their computer might be running an older operating system that doesn’t support newer versions of Adobe Reader (or any other PDF reader).

4. They are not all device friendly

Some people may not be able to view your PDFs on their devices or browsers. If you need your documents to be accessible by everyone who visits your website or store, consider publishing them as digital flipbooks instead of creating them as PDFs in the first place.

5. Security concerns

One of the biggest problems with PDFs is security. Because they are often used to distribute sensitive information, they are often attacked by hackers looking for ways to access the data within them. On the other hand, digital flipbooks are considered a fairly secure option.
