Truly Realistic Results Are Possible With Our Prizma Graphics-Branded Photo Paper

by Liz Seyi Digital marketing manager

Are you an individual or organisation with a need to produce the most realistic printed graphics? This requirement can arise in relation to such applications as posters, displays, signs, maps, point-of-sale and full colour graphics. If, then, you have any of these purposes in mind for your next project, it may interest you to learn more about our generous stock of Prizma Graphics-branded photo paper.

We presently stock an assortment of instant dry Photo Satin Paper and gloss inkjet paper for photo realistic prints, in weights of 170gsm and 190gsm in the case of both our satin and gloss papers, but also 200gsm for those shopping for satin photo paper.

What can you expect from our far-reaching range of gloss and satin photo paper?

Both our gloss and satin photo papers have an instant drying coating which is smudge resistant allowing for immediate handling of your prints, a crucial requirement for meeting those all-important deadlines. Both of these photo papers are able to withstand high ink loads for creating high impact, stunning colour images that will not cockle.

Our Satin Photo Paper is less shiny than our Photo Gloss Paper with less light reflection which is our recommended choice for framing your prints behind glass. A gloss finish, however, will emphasise the intensity of your colours for dramatic graphic displays.

Whether you opt for satin or gloss photo paper from our continually updated online selection, you can choose from a variety of dimensions, including rolls of 610mm up to 1524mm, as well as sheets of between A4 and A1 sizes. Such a breadth of possibilities makes it easier for you to purchase the photo paper that best suits your current needs and budget.

Importantly, our Prizma Graphics-branded photo papers are all suitable for HP, Canon and Epson inkjet printers – which means that whatever dye or pigment wide format digital inkjet printer you are presently using as an individual or organisation, you can expect the very best results.

Your mounting requirements are catered for, too

No less important than the most appropriate photo paper for the creation of highly realistic prints is a suitable means of presenting these prints to the intended audience. This is precisely what our acclaimed mounting solutions give you, with our foamboard representing an excellent complement to professional prints on photo paper.

Our trusted foamboard takes the form of a rigid, lightweight strong polystyrene core with paper liners, and is easy to cut and trim. Biodegradable foam board is also available for those seeking a ‘green’ option, its composition of 15% recycled content helping to ensure it breaks down within one to five years, unlike normal foamboard.

Finally, another crucial task that awaits many of those producing realistic prints with our photo paper is the application of the print to the foamboard, options and useful tips for this process are discussed in more detail in our dedicated blog on this topic. Again, we have the products that enable you to obtain the best finish from such an operation, including various forms of self-adhesive mount film and 3M Spray Mount Adhesive.

Alternatively, you could invest in self-adhesive foamboard to save even more time. This is a little more expensive than our standard foam board but presents a far more convenient method of mounting your print. The mount film adhesive has already been applied in an even coating across the entire sheet of foamboard reducing the risk of air bubbles when mounting your print.
