Tourist attractions in Paris for everyone to enjoy when on a holiday in Paris

With over thirty million people visiting the capital city of France each year, it is no surprise that there are many completely different tourist attractions in Paris that you can visit while you are on holiday in France. And these vary from the great views at the Eiffel Tower, to the unique Cite de Sciences that will be able to keep everybody enthralled, not forgetting the tour buses in Paris and attractions like the River Seine, Aquaboulevard and plenty of more, so you will no doubt find yourself struggling to end up seeing everything you would like to once on your holiday in Paris.

To start with you could take a stroll on the Champs Elysees, which is perhaps the most renowned avenue in the world with its stunning tree lined avenue with various outlets and cafes to enjoy regardless of what time of year you opt to travel on holiday in Paris, however, throughout the festive season the lights and decorations are spectacular and bring the street to life even more.

But even nowadays, this avenue is classified as one of the foremost expensive addresses within the world with several shop owners paying premium rental prices of hundreds of thousands, thus it is no surprise that there are stylish boutiques and renowned names in fragrance and fashion that are positioned near or down the street.

Although maybe you would prefer to take a walk or a cruise along the River Seine where you can get guided tours or maybe have a romantic dinner on one of the traditional Bateaux Mouches. And with a boat trip on the River Seine you also get to see several of the various monuments in Paris from a very different perspective, particularly once they are lit up in the dead of night, which is a memory which will stick with you even years after your holiday in the city of Lights.

Another day you could visit the Place de la Bastille or Bastille square as it is also known as, which is legendary for the fortress that used to stand there and the Storming of the Bastille, that marked the beginning of the French revolution. However there is also the new opera house and an area of the Canal Saint Martin. Plus, behind the square there is a pleasure boat marina, which is an excellent way of spending time relaxing on the water for a brief boating holiday in France away from the city life.

Talking of water, if you are thinking of a family holiday in Paris, then a visit to Aquaboulevard is an absolute must, because it is the largest water park in Europe designed with tropical surroundings, flumes, water slides, wave pools, Jacuzzis and much, much more, not forgetting the cinemas, play area, restaurants, sports coaching facilities etc, that everybody can enjoy no matter what their interests.

However, another tourist attraction in Paris for the family has got to be the Cite de Sciences, with its planetarium, interactive displays, simulators, a techno area designed for teenagers, the geode with its 1000m screen and far more that means it is appropriate for all ages from youngsters through to adults. And additionally there is a decommissioned submarine referred to as the Argonaute placed opposite that you can just explore!

But what about taking a trip or two on the tour buses like l'Open Tour? This is another good way of seeing a number of the tourist attractions in Paris that you simply might not get to go to otherwise. There are completely different routes that cover different elements of the city, additionally you will be able to even have headphones for commentary on the various places you end up passing by and if you wish to go to one of the tourist attractions just like The Louvre which is the most famous museum in Paris, then simply hop off and catch another bus later.
