Toronto Medical Aesthetics School Offers Laser Treatment Programs To Trainees

by PRC Agency PR

Switching to a new career is never easy - but lately, it can seem almost impossible.

Who can afford to take months or years off work, while paying for the extra training?

That's why the Dermysk Medical Aesthetics Academy, a top training school for aestheticians, has totally revamped its courses - so they can fit into your schedule, no matter what you've got going on.

Oh, sure, they still require you to do a bit of in-person training, but they make it as quick and convenient as possible, so you'll only need about a week off to get hands-on experience.

If that sounds like something that would work for you, why not check it out? Working in a Medspa is a fantastic career, and the skills you'll learn can even be used to start up your own business.

You can get all the details at https://dermysk.com/pages/academy - just click on "Full Course Directory" at the bottom of the page to see the individual courses and a full list of the treatments you can get certified in.

Here's how it works.

First, you sign up for the course you want, we'll talk about those in a minute.

Then, you complete the "education" portion of the training online, at your own pace. During this portion, you'll learn about the medical aesthetic industry, how the treatments work, some basic business strategies, and how to deal with clients.

After you've completed the online stuff, which can be done in only a month or two if you work at it, you're ready to get real hands-on experience, at any of the four Dermysk Academies across Canada.

During your practical training, you get to do all the fun stuff - like playing with lasers.

In fact, you might be surprised at just how many lasers are involved in medical aesthetics.

Lasers are used for skin resurfacing, hair removal, tattoo removal, pigmented and vascular lesions, gynecology, and... well, there could be more, but I haven't completed the Master's level course yet. The point is, at some point, no matter which course you take - you're going to get to play with some pretty neat lasers.

Just don't forget your goggles, and remember, these are medical lasers, not ray guns - so you have to make your own "pew pew" noises.

Don't worry about "not being qualified," or "not having enough time," because they've already thought of all that.

You can take their Basic course with no qualifications other than a high school diploma - and if you don't have that, they'll also accept any kind of relevant job experience. There's no time limit either, if it takes you a few extra months because you're also working full-time, that's fine.

While they call it the "Basic" course - don't think that makes it less important, because it covers a lot. You can get certified with several types of lasers, as well as microblading, dermaplaning, fractional ablation, radiofrequency rejuvenation, acne treatments, and more.

Once you're done with the Basic course, you're ready to start your new career. You can apply at existing spas, work out of your home, or start your own business. Or, you can go back to the Academy for round 2, and take the Advanced course. To enroll, all you need is either 5 years of industry experience or a graduation certificate from the Basic course.

The Advanced course teaches a lot of neat stuff, but my favourite is Cool Sculpting. It's the coolest (pun intended) way to non-invasively, non-surgically, remove unwanted fat from a client's body, only in carefully selected areas. In a way, it really is like sculpting a person.

Before you run off to take the Basic and Advanced courses though - let me tell you a secret many people don't find out until it's too late.

The courses don't go, Basic, Advanced, then Master - they could, but you would be repeating a lot of training because the Master level course stands alone. it includes everything from the Basic and Advanced courses, so you don't need to take all three, plus it has some exclusive training you won't find anywhere else.

Why is it like this? Well, the truth is most aestheticians never get their Master's certification. A Master of Medical Aesthetics certificate is quite rare, even in the industry - because the Basic and Advanced programs are more than enough to keep you happily working in your new career. However, if you want to know more, have more skills, and be more certified than your peers - this is the way to go.

If you're in any doubt - I know this is just some random internet article that you have no reason to trust - then just check out their reviews online.

They're all so positive, I just copied and pasted the most recent one here, “I would highly recommend this medical aesthetics education program to anyone looking to pursue a career in this field. It provided a solid foundation and set me up for success
