6. Jain Deemed-to-be University

7. Christ Deemed-to-be University

8. M.S. Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences

The M.S. Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences came into being as result of an act passed by the Government of Karnataka in December 2013 thus bringing a host of educational institutions formerly under Gokula Education Foundation. From health sciences and engineering to management and commerce, the university has several faculties to pursue higher education.

9. PES University

The People’s Education Society established PES Institute of Technology which as later renamed PES University in the year 1988. Today, the university operates five faculties - Engineering, Management, Medicine, Life Sciences, and Law. According to the National Institute Ranking Framework, PES university is ranked in the overall 201 to 250 band.

10. International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore

The International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore (IIITB), a deemed university,  was founded in the year 1999.
