What is The Single Window Counseling Process?

Dear candidates, after the Rank List is available, the University starts TNEA Counselling procedure. When you’re going to attend counseling process then you must bring the following documents that is class 10^th/12th mark sheet and passing certificate, Domicile Certificate, Identity Proof, Category Certificate (if applicable) and 06 passport size photographs. The Admission process will be accepted once the counseling gets over and you will have to report to the colleges selected to them for additional admission procedure and payment of fees.

Brief Details About Rank List and Cut-offs:

Before going to appear in TNEA Counselling, candidates had to log in to the official site of university in order or check their Rank. The Rank List of admission for every category of candidates is based on the normalized marks scored by them in their Class XII or equivalent. Now the candidates will have to download Counseling Call Letter, the University used to make a random number and allocate it to every candidate. At the present the procedure due to rank list has turn out to be easier and translucent as the counseling will be organized on the Rank list. The rank list plays a vital job as the candidates are placed into come together or groups and is invited for counseling in the same time slot.

The minimum required marks are arrived at by the total marks scored in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and the highest cut-off marks is 200 arrived at by the sum of marks in Physics balanced to 50, marks in Chemistry scaled to 50 and marks in Maths scaled to 100.
Marks in a subject of Class 12^th scored by other board candidate will be associate with the marks in the similar subject of Class 12th scored by a scholar of State Board of Tamil Nadu and this is planned on the basis of this formula that is Cut-off mark equal to Highest marks scored by other board student into 100 divided by highest marks scored by a Tamil Nadu Board student. So if a candidate of Tamil Nadu Board has 90 marks in Physics as the maximum mark and a scholar of other board has 80 in the same subject, the marks of the other board candidates will be associate as 80X100/90=88.88 and the student from other board would get the admission based on 88.88.
