Most of the students that will take this exam tend to develop anxiety and fear. They think ahead of themselves and end up being stressed. Board exams are really a big part of your career, however, it is not an excuse to make you feel anxious and worried. To help you relieve some of the worries, here are some basic tips that can help you overcome the fear of taking the exam.

Take each day at a time: It is a continuous and comprehensive study that will help you in scoring better. You cannot just open the books a week before the UP board 12th or 10th exam and hope to score phenomenal marks. No, that’s just not possible! Plan a proper detailed schedule and stick to it.

Be confident but not over or under confident: Psyche yourself that you can do well in the UP Board exam. The power of positive thinking works a lot. However, too much confidence can also be bad. Balance things out. Believe in yourself but still continue to study and review your work using past years papers, sample papers, etc. to make you better prepared for the coming day itself.

Seek Support: Find support from your family and friends. They will be the one to give you further strength especially during the times when you doubt your abilities and just want to give up. They would also uplift you and encourage you to succeed.

Nourish Your Body and Mind: Do not forget to eat. This is necessary to keep up your strength. You also need to rest from time to time. Find some relaxing time to do recreational activities like watching movies or TV, or even go out with friends to take your mind off your board exam worries. A small break after 2 hours would work wonders in accentuating your overall performance.

Get Enough Sleep: Being sleep deprived will not help your cause. Eight hours of sleep a day can do wonders for your power of concentration. It will also help on the actual exam day because it will prevent you from being sleepy. If you have difficulty in sleeping at night then try drinking warm milk. It can also help if you listen to relaxing music.

Follow these tips and we are sure, you’ll ace the UP board 11th and 12th exams.
