Tips for Healthy Living

As the world becomes more advanced, people are beginning to rely more and more on technology. Traveling is only done in vehicles now. People no longer have the energy or time to go for a simple walk in the park or even walk two blocks away from their homes. With cheap transport which is also accessible to all then most people have turned to living lifestyles that are harmful to them. Diseases like arthritis and cardiovascular conditions are common today because most people have eating disorders and do not like exercises. Governments had previously ignored this but with figures and statics predicting that instead of nuclear weapons and terrorism most governments. Governments have obesity to worry about then there has been increased pressure for people to live healthier life styles. This could be achieved slowly over a period of time if people changed their attitudes and ways of living.

1. Exercise
Modern day luxuries like television and cars encourage a sedentary lifestyle .losing weight is not the only benefits one gets from exercise they also get to stay healthy. Exercise also encourages more brain activity and prevents cardiovascular disease and diabetes .exercise does not necessarily mean enrollment in a gym facility, exercises should start small that is running, jogging or swimming these re easily asses-sable and burn as many calories as a treadmill or any gym facility. Exercise has also been known to increase bone density and ensure that the body is fit both physically and mentally. Exercise can even involve walking instead of taking the bus or doing household chores it does not have to be anything big but more exercise regularly done ensures fitness and a healthy lifestyle.

2. Healthy food
Food is the most important factor in living a healthy lifestyle. Tran’s fats are all people eat today because it is cheap and available but the saying one minute on the lips twenty years in the hips is not wrong with increasing rates and cases of obesity all over the world. The internet is full of facts and even grotesque pictures of what Trans fats and junk food do to the body when taken in large amounts. Children have become the most recent victims recently from an early age they are introduced to junk food. Eating too many calories in food could lead to weight gain and obesity Doctors recommend food that is rich in all food groups carbohydrates proteins and vegetables last fruits are also encouraged. Doctors encourage patients going on diets for weight loss to reduce carbohydrates intake and instead replace them with proteins in order for them to grow muscles and shed of the excess fat. Reducing salt intake is also beneficial to one’s health high salt intake may lead to high blood pressure. Recent weight loss news shows that bad habits like over indulging in alcohol are also not good for the body as they lead to chronic and fatal diseases. Eating habits are also a major cause of obesity and other illnesses, skipping breakfast is a bad habit because the body needs the energy to start of the day .keeping the body hydrated is also important however fizzy drinks are not a good source water and natural fruit juice are encouraged for a healthier lifestyle. Healthier food like fish should also be encouraged as it contains omega three which ensures the brain also develops properly. White meat like chicken turkey and fish is also advised over red meat.

3. Start early

Life begins before we are even born. Pregnant mothers should take care to eat the proper food and avoid alcohol before they give birth as this causes disability and physical problems to their babies once born. From young age children should also be encouraged and taught the benefits of a healthy meal and also to avoid sedentary lifestyles. Instead of staying in their rooms playing video games children should be encouraged to go outside. Vitamin D from the sun is lacking in most children today encouraging them to play outdoors this vitamin is important for building bones in the body. It is also important for children to live in a stress-free environment as this ensures they are able to handle stressful situations in the future without them affecting their lifestyles.

Conclusion
Living a healthy lifestyle is not hard to do especially when it is started from a very young age. Obesity and other diseases that are related to unhealthy lifestyles can be a thing of the past if people just followed simple tips to ensure they live a healthy life. The society as a whole should work together to ensure that healthy living happens this includes teaching about it in schools and making sure that the general public is educated. Vices like over indulgence in alcohol and fast food should also be encouraged in so doing then it will be possible to bring up a healthy population.
