It has become a trend now for fashionable Muslim women to don different styles. However, as Muslim women, we must preserve our aurat even if we want to be fashionable. When we talk about  baju muslimah, we do not necessarily limit our thoughts by giving a limited option. This is because Islam does not determine the type of fashion, however, our religion has outlined guidelines on how to wear and cover the aurat and comply with sharia.

 

With the presence of various types of  baju muslimah in the market now, it gives many options to women. Previously the choice was only limited to baju kurung, kebaya, and robes. However, we have grown to be more trendy and more fashionable with the concept of 'mix and match'.

Tip # 1: Choosing the hijab

The chosen hijab must not be so thin that it can show our hair, ear shape, and neck. It should also cover the chest. And if you want to have a sanggul bun, make sure the shape of the hair is not visible.

The blouse chosen must be long and not too short and enough to cover the lower part of your body.

Tight clothing will display our body shapes. Thin and visible material will show off our body and it is not suitable for  baju muslimah. So, choose loose and comfortable wear that is also suitable to be worn to perform prayers.

The important thing is to choose clothes that cover the aurat. For Muslim women, the clothes chosen must cover all part of your body except the face and hands that are not too tight and look modest

God loves beauty, so choose beautiful and clean clothes but God does not like arrogant people. Therefore, avoid wearing clothes with the purpose of boasting and gaining praise.

 

Tip # 7: Choose Long and Loose Sleeves

Avoid tight and short sleeves. However, you can also wear inner sleeves when wearing short sleeves. It can also prevent the aurat from being exposed when you are on the go, working, and doing your daily chores
