Three Distinctions between Apparel and Gift Boxes

by Tyler P. A Passionate Blogger - Entertainment

There is nothing more fun than shopping for a new wardrobe, but it can be frustrating for the customer to get it home and realize they have to iron or ‘fluff dry’ everything because it’s wrinkled from being thrown in a shopping bag. Retailers who want to minimize their supply costs often choose plastic bags imprinted with their logo as the primary ‘packaging’ for clothing purchases. It’s affordable, easy for customers to carry and can be purchased in bulk from a quality supplier. However, if you are looking to take your store’s reputation to the next level than consider apparel boxes for all clothing sales.

It is important to note that there are a few distinct differences between gift and apparel boxes which should be reviewed before placing the order with the supply company. Gift boxes are the perfect packaging solution for items like coffee mugs, tumblers, glass figurines and homemade products. Gift Boxes comes in sixes like 4x4x4, 6x6x4 and 10x5x4.

On the other hand, when you get apparel boxes, these are manufactured specifically for articles of clothing such as dresses, shirts, pants and smaller, more delicate items. These boxes are available in a variety of sizes to accommodate single or multiple clothing items as well as thickness for heavier items such as jeans and coats. While the gift box is designed to in a more square and taller options, the apparel box is focused on protecting the clothing from the elements and allows folded items to remain in that state. When the shopper gets their purchases home, they can pull them directly from the box and place them neatly in their wardrobe without having to take extra steps like ironing. This is especially important for high-dollar items, clothing that is easily wrinkled or formal apparel that requires special care when it doesn’t look brand-new.

Another feature of the apparel box that makes it a good investment is that it can be used for gift presentations, but retailers will need to invest in gift wrap, bows and tissue paper to help ‘dress it up’ for the occasion. Gift boxes can come with imprinted designs so retailers have to decide on how much they want to order of a theme or holiday, while wrapping with gift paper and using bows allows more flexibility and personalization throughout the year when used with the plain kraft apparel boxes. It is a good idea to order boxes in bulk in a range of different neutral colors and sizes so the retailer has an option for every customer no matter what they purchase.

It is the details that separate retailers from their competition and bring in customers who want to shop at a business that takes the extra step for a positive experience. Whether you are looking for price gun labels to speed up product pricing, shelving systems for an efficient store layout or apparel boxes to keep clothing purchases neat and orderly, the right supply company has everything you need to create the atmosphere and shopping experience that customers are looking for.
