The fort overlooks Maota Lake and is located on the hilltop at the height of about 1,755 ft. (535 m) above sea level.

Nahargarh Fort is an imposing fortification built on the eastern edge of Jaipur. It derives its name from the nearby village of Narwar, which was home to soldiers during Mughal rule. The fort is located on a hilltop at an altitude of 1,300 ft. (396 m) and offers commanding views of the Pink City. The fort was initially built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II as an impregnable artillery post to protect Jaipur from invasions. Later, it was used as a royal palace and hunting ground.


3.      3) City Palace


The Jai Singh City Palace is an imposing palace complex located in the heart of Jaipur. It was built by Maharaja Jai Singh II, the founder of Jaipur, in 1727 AD. The palace is a blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. It covers an area of 7 acres (2.8 ha) and is divided into four blocks, namely Mubarak Mahal, Sheesh Mahal, Shri Govind Devji, and Bhaironath.

4)     4) Jantar Mantar


Jantar Mantar is a collection of architectural astronomical instruments built by Sawai Jai Singh II of Jaipur in 1728 AD. It consists of thirteen large instruments and is the largest stone observatory in the world. The purpose of these instruments was to study the movement of celestial objects and predict the time, seasons, and eclipses.
