At the beginning of 2010, the retailer specializing in shoes introduced a modern, centralized IT infrastructure which employees access via thin clients from the German market leader IGEL Technology. If the private cloud with its lean, remote administrable thin clients had not been set up, the extremely heterogeneous PC equipment would have led to unreasonable support costs.
Less sneaker administration
The thin clients now provide a range of applications including those for accounting, billing and other departments.
