The Year in Style 2015
As we prepare to close the book on another style-packed year, let's take a moment to pay homage to Hollywood's style standouts of 2015. Model Gigi Hadid continued to take the fashion world by storm this year. The rising model walked the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show runway for the first time, in addition to modeling in numerous other fashion shows, designer ad campaigns, and appearing on countless magazine covers. Gigi's best friend and fellow model, Kendall Jenner, also walked in the Victoria's Secret show. Kendall dominated the style scene this year appearing in ads for Calvin Klein and Estée Lauder. The young Kardashian sister also appeared in countless runway shows and magazines, cementing her spot as a fashion-industry standout.
In Hollywood, entertainment host Maria Menounos took over the anchor position on E! News vacated by industry veteran Giuliana Rancic. However, Giuliana continued her reign as awards season's most popular red carpet reporter, hosting Live From the Red Carpet for E! Entertainment. The fashionista also resumed her role on Fashion Police, helping to revamp the temporarily stagnant show. Giuliana had her hand in other style endeavors as well. She continued designing new collections for her HSN clothing line. Her lifestyle brand FabFitFun also saw tremendous growth.
This year's street style scene continued to be dominated by models, including Candice Swanepoel and Lily Aldridge. Black leather remained the outerwear of choice for these beauties, complimented by topknot hairstyles and statement sunnies. YSL, Givenchy, Chanel, and Celine bags were go-to daytime accessories. Black boots and denim also remained casual wear staples. The crop top solidified its place as a top 2015 street style trend.
In the singing circuit, Taylor Swift turned heads not only for her red carpet looks, but also her noteworthy costumes. The country starlet proved that she could pull herself together elegantly for an awards show. Yet, she also brought the heat in action-worthy garments in her Bad Blood music video. Taylor complimented her own outstanding costumes with the equally enviable attire of her posse. Taylor's squad included model bestie Karlie Kloss and HBO star Lena Dunham. Her fashionable friends anchored her on stage during concerts across the globe.

The small screen was also filled with style this year. Freshman series Scream Queens gained notoriety for more than its storytelling. Lead actress Emma Roberts proved that a character can be as chic as she is entertaining. Wardrobe department head Lou Eyrich dressed the character using inspiration from industry site style.com (now Vogue Runway). Returning favorite, Pretty Little Liars, continued its reign as one of the best-dressed casts on television. American Horror Story also gained wardrobe acclaim this season by styling its latest star - music industry queen, Lady Gaga.
