There are different elements which are required for human existence such as air, water and food. The human body requires a constant and regular intake of these elements to live a healthy life. The main reason to consume food and other essential consumable substances is to acquire the daily feed of nutrients that helps us to gain energy to do work. Milk is one of the major sources of protein that is regarded as a divine drink for the human body.

According the analysis of the World Health Organisation (WHO), an adult requires 400 to 500 milligrams of calcium every day so as to avoid any type of bone disorders. Bone strength is enhanced through a precise consumption of milk. Physicians and doctors suggest that, for maintaining a perfect calcium balance in the body one must drink three to four glasses of milk daily. The nutrients in milk include protein, amino acids and minerals. After the White Revolution in India, there has been a surplus production of milk to meet the needs of every Indian household. Infants and adolescent kids must be offered a diet that includes a major share of milk and its related products.

Organic cow milk is totally different from the regular milk which is offered to us in the urban regions. According to fresh reports, around 70% of the milk which is manufactured in the country is adulterated. Milk is processed or manufactured using glucose, starch, detergents, urea and formalin. These additives are harmful for human consumption and there is a need for increasing the production of organic milk. Organic milk comes from the cows which are raised in their natural habitat. The use of antibiotics and hormones is strictly prohibited. The quality of milk is better in comparison to adulterated milk. Organic milk helps to create a balance of omega-6 and omega-3 which is very essential for the human body. Another beneficial factor about cow’s milk is that, the fat content is significantly low.

According to the reports of 2014-15, India has produced around 147 million tons of milk which is sufficient to feed the growing population. Farm fresh milk is manufactured mainly in the rural areas. There are some popular fresh milk brands which manage to distribute pure milk to different regions in the country. Doctor Moo and Pride of Cows are the top ranked organic milk brands. Make sure you consume a good quantity of milk every day to stay fit and active.
