Steamforged Games has announced an agreement with developer Jagex to bring RuneScape Gold to tablets in the coming year. The MMORPG is likely to get more than one, but there are new tabletop versions: an online board game as well as a tabletop position-gambling sport. The board game will launch on Kickstarter in the coming months while the tabletop RPG is scheduled to launch in retailers.

The two games will both take an idea from RuneScape's mythical global, Gielinor. They will utilize the characters, characters, and locales in which the MMORPG has established as well-known throughout its extensive history. The board game can take up to five players on the quest of a completely marketing campaign that will take them through the lands of Gielinor.

According to the official statement of Steamforged, gamers will "craft and upgrade their devices as well as upskill their characters. cook up unique meals interact with NPCs and assess their skills while exploring certain zones of the arena". As in the MMORPG gamers can come upon aspect-quests to flesh out the sport's international.

Additionally, the TTRPG could be made up of a magnificently illustrated center e-e book that is full of the vital documents needed for players to run a TTRPG. With it, players are able to create their personal characters and then venture into the lands of Gielinor for "particular and intriguing quests". Plus this TTRPG center e-e book can be "completely in sync with the rules of the 5th edition of the game's most loved position-based tabletop game".

This venture may be the primary time that RuneScape may exist outside of being a virtual platform. This is a factor that Jagex chief executive Phil Mansell is happy approximately:

"After more than 21 years exclusively available online it's fascinating to take part in Steamforged to create and supply RuneScape game-playing experiences that incorporate tabletop video games...I am sure that RuneScape isn't the only one. Old School RS Gold gamers could be excited to take palms at the deliberate miniatures to create their very personal adventures."
