The selection about the steel of industrial hot water boiler

Steel,as a material for making industrial hot water boiler,its property and quality has a direct relationship about the manufacturing process of the industrial hot water boiler,even,it affects the quality and safety of the project.Therefore,it is an important work to select the different kinds of steel. Steel of hot water boilers has the following requirements on the consideration of design.
Sufficient strength and rigidity

hot water boiler structure has no contact with high temperature flue gas,generally,room temperature is main basis for calculating the strength,stiffness requirements should be satisfied at the same time.

Paying attention to the purpose and performance

Generally,alloy steel is adopted in plate beam and column,the rest of the components basically use ordinary low-carbon steel.

Good welding performance

Framework generally adopts welding processing way,it is difficult to preheat before welding and conduct the heat treatment after welding because of the size of the framework is restricted by working conditions,so,we should select the steel of good welding performance.

Appropriate brittle transition temperature

Sometimes,the working temperature of hot water boiler framework is very low,so,the brittle transition temperature of the steel should not be too high,should be lower than the local minimum temperature,especially,for the severe cold area,the brittle transition temperature should be lower than -40℃.
