'The Royals' mother-daughter fashion show feud on E!

It’s London Fashion Week on “The Royals” giving everybody an excuse to act crazy Sunday night on "We are Pictures, or Mere Beasts" episode. E!’s new hit TV drama featured a mother and daughter rivalry between Queen Helena (Elizabeth Hurley), who has always led the yearly fashion event at the palace, while her daughter Princess Eleanor (Alexandra Park) tries to upstage her. Ophelia may have found a new love interest as she tries avoiding the paparazzi while attending university.

Eleanor gets inspired to stage a fashion show when her own mother tells her “you do nothing and you contribute nothing.” She’ll show mum as she’s already called “bagsy” (dibs) by wearing purple for their new family portrait after the death of her beloved brother, Robert. Eleanor will be having her own fashion show at an undisclosed location. She finds a perfect setting at the palace’s tunnel. Her show will have a gothic theme.

The queen sends out her brother-in-law, Prince Cyrus, to find Eleanor’s secret spot. Cyrus knows his daughters idolize Eleanor, so he seeks them out during their Brazilian waxing session. He takes a photo of them in a revealing way where they end up confessing. Earlier Eleanor got even with her mother by planting a story of the Queen spending 50 thousand pounds on lingerie for Fashion Week.

Meanwhile, Ophelia and Prince Liam have cooled it off, romance-wise. She’s trying to forget about him, but it’s difficult when the press still think they’re together. Ophelia tries to escape the paparazzi at the university. All of a sudden she is whisked away from one of her classmates. He helps her escape the campus via incognito.

Prince Liam, the heir to throne, is now shadowing his father by learning the ropes in becoming king one day. It’s a lot more difficult than he anticipated. His twin sister Eleanor takes him out to her favorite nightclub. He meets up with his old flame Gemma. On the way home she crashes her car. According to extraction protocol, Eleanor’s bodyguard forces Liam to escape, thus by avoiding a very messy scandal.

Now that the queen finds out her daughter’s location, she decides it’s a good as place as any to have a fashion show. London Fashion Week now has two shows with Queen Helena’s traditional wear versus her daughter’s edgy collection with models wearing glow-in-the-dark face painting.

Afterwards, Eleanor is thrilled by the rave reviews from the press over her debut show. Helena comes by to visit informing Eleanor she had the press plant positive stories, because she truly cares how her family does with the press corps. Image is everything. Now it’s bagsy with Helena and the press on "The Royals" television series.
