The rebellion of youth

The transition from childhood to teenage to adulthood can be an interesting journey.  Everyone has their own coping up mechanisms to cope up with these changes. This is a period of usual soul searching ,trying to find out our likes. For most youngsters this can be quite intimidating. They find various ways to cope up with this stress. Delinquent behavior is also a big problem of this age group. Most of the times they are not able to cope up their biological changes so they find out various avenues to relive their stress. Hence rebellion is a common attitude to the youth.With their young fledgling minds, they see rules more as,  hindrance to their free movement. They are not able to understand the importance of rules. They also have various questions with regard to their career, future and the vocations they would want to pursue in the future.Most youngsters are just like clay they can be molded into any form . With some handholding they have immense possibilities that  that they can achieve. The youngsters might not realize the importance to rules but they can be taught the importance to these rules. In the past we have all come across incidents of shootings and criminal activities across various university campuses . This is a result of youngsters not being able to control their rage . Rage and anger is a common human behavior,  but to , it is also important . The youth can be naive enough to think that they can control any situation.

In case of teenagers the role of parents or caregivers is very important . They should introduce coping up mechanisms at an early age. A bad day at university campus does not mean that the frustration can be taken out on the road or at home . Unacceptable or criminal behavior should be nipped at the bud itself. Teenagers should be introduces to sports ,debates, extempore and various other activities that gives them a creative outlet to express themselves. Another issue with the youth is that they are not taken seriously. Just because they are young does not mean that ever they say does not make any sense. People in a position of authority should always lend an ear to their views.

The youth also should have a learning mentality They should lend a helping hand to the society in whatever way and means they can This is a period of self discovery and they should treat it like that .They should develop hobbies that will go a great way in making their lives more fulfilling . Rather than indulging in antisocial behavior they should find ways and means in which coexist with the society just like assignment experts.

The society should also use the energy of the youth is a positive way. Their new ideas should be encouraged rather than looked down upon . They should be encouraged to take part in various activities . Rather than the  kids, they should be treated more like young adults. Rebellion without any cause is also useless. So the young adults should find a cause worth of pursuing , then may be they can convenience .The development process or the very nature of human evolution has rebellion as an inherent trait. The power to question and then understand things  has only bought the human race this forward. Relentless curiosity should never be curbed it should be encouraged or still better nurtured.  The banks of a river will overflow if it is full just like that if the young adults have frustrations  that is not addressed to it will come out in violent ways.

On second thoughts rebellion is not always evil. To think differently is not a crime ,be it Martin Luther King, Nelson Mandela Or Mahatma Gandhi they all dared to think different at one point of time. If they would not have taken the hardships to follow up on their line of thought then would history would be quite different from the way we know it . So with time things change with some help and guidance from elders the young adults can go ahead to achieve greatness in what ever fields they choose to pursue . They should be taught that the journey from being a young adult to an adult is quite a long one. And that with great power,independence comes greater responsibilities. Stress is a part and parcel of life and they should have adequate skills to cope up with this stress.
