The Pathankot Terror Attack
Terrorist attacks have rocked the world. They killed many on the streets of Paris. And now they tried to do the same in Pathankot, Punjab. But our military foiled their plan. And in doing so, some of our military men even lost their lives.
The gunfire, the fear of death didn’t stop our army men. They barged into their hideouts and showed them their place. The entire country paid tribute to the army men who lost their lives in this battle. The government of India has also condemned the act and stands firm to wipe out terrorism from the face of earth. The families of the soldiers who died in this encounter are deep in sorrow but they are very proud of their sons for what they did for their country.
As civilians the best we can do is show our deepest respect for the Indian army and do our best to make them safe. The government must improve their investments in machines and safety gears. Be it the bullet proof vest they wear or the military boots they wear when going out to face the enemies, the government must ensure the best for them. The defense specialists also have to look into the current situation that we as a country are into, and share with us the best passible path to take on in the future. We’ve to have a plan for future including the kind of equipment and safety gear including military boots that we want our soldiers to have while they go out and fight it out with the terrorists.
The intelligence of the country should now be up on their toes – it’s dangerous time ahead. Some militant groups are hell bent to disturb the brotherhood and peace that are so inherent in India’s societal and economic system. Securities within the country also need to be at their best. Be it the local buses or metro or the marketplaces that often get crowded on weekends, the police and the associated forces have to beef up their presence and security.
