The new application of ceramic - electronic ceramics

In the 1980s, with the development of China's electronic industry and civilian needs, there was a rapid increase in the demand for ceramic capacitors and ceramic resonators in household appliances. Recalling the development of the of piezoelectric ceramic industry in China, 20 years ago, only Shandong University, Tsinghua University, South China Institute of Technology, Tianjin University, Sichuan University, Shanghai and HKUST several universities focused on piezoelectric materials and professional. Shanghai Silicate Research the 7th Institute of China Electronics Technology Group and 26 of the Institute has a piezoelectric ceramic material and the Applied Research Laboratory, manufacturer Shandong Zibo radio ceramics factory, most of the major projects undertaken military products. The only mass-produced products involves civilian piezoelectric ceramic buzzers and igniters, small ceramic resonators, ceramic capacitors, piezoelectric ceramics for underwater acoustic and ultrasound transducers.

 

In order to adapt to the different requirements of the material properties of various piezoelectric devices, materials researchers extensively modified additives and have developed a large number of high-performance piezoelectric ceramic material.

 

In order to meet the manufacturing needs of the above 10MHz high frequency ceramic filters and ceramic resonators, materials researchers use the lead titanate ceramic material is replaced with a small amount of lanthanum oxide, and the amount of manganese, niobium, cerium ions, the high-frequency response is good, excellent temperature stability of modified lead titanate ceramic material, its electrical properties are quite similar materials with the same period of Murata, Japan. Also developed is suitable for high temperature ultrasound transducer lead titanate piezoelectric ceramic material. The technology has been successfully used for high-temperature environment in deep oil detection and flowmeter.
