Mill)—Shearing (Flying Shear)—Cooling (Cooling Bed)—Packing (Packing Table)
Preparation of steel billet: including cleaning of surface defects, removal of surface oxide
scale and pre-heat treatment of billet, etc. If it is a continuous casting and
rolling process, a continuous casting machine can be used to produce billets.
Billet heating: it is an important process in the hot rolling production process. A
billet heating furnace is generally used to heat the billet. There are many
types of billet heating furnaces, and there are different classification
methods. Different heating furnaces have different characteristics and
operating conditions and should be selected according to the specific
conditions of the heating furnace billet. Billet heating furnaces commonly used
in wire rod workshops are pusher-type heating furnaces and walking-type heating
furnaces.
Billet rolling: it is the core of the whole steel rolling production process. The
billet is rolled to complete the deformation process. The rolling process plays
a decisive role in the quality of the product. The quality requirements of the
finished product include three aspects: the geometric shape and dimensional
accuracy of the product, the internal organization and performance, and the surface
quality of the product.
Finish rolling of rolled
pieces: it is the last process in the steel rolling
process. And it is also a relatively complicated process. It plays an ultimate
role in guaranteeing the quality of the product. The technical requirements of
the products are different, and the content of the finishing process is also
very different. The finishing process usually includes many specific processes
such as cutting or coiling of steel, cooling after rolling, straightening, heat
treatment of finished products, surface cleaning of finished products, and
various coatings.
