Joshimath is well connected by the rail, road and air. The closest Railway station is Rishikesh Railway Station, which is around 250kms on NH58 from Joshimath. Jolly Grant Airport is the nearest air base and is 272 km from Joshimath. Jolly Grant has daily flights from Delhi. Uttarakhand has good motorable roads approaching Joshimath via NH58. One could avail private cars, buses or use their vehicles for the drive.
Best time to visit
The best time to plan for a Joshimath Package would be from July to November. Due to the hilly terrains and several mountain ranges, it is often avoided during the harsh winters for it gets sub-zero and starts snowing even till March.
