The first steps to make a car race
The dream of many of our readers is to compete, climb to the top of a podium and win a competition on four wheels. In that sense, it is extremely important to know how to prepare a car race.
For this, you need to follow some instructions like: “First you have to take the vehicle to the workshop and disassemble it in its entirety, take out everything, evaluate what is going to work and what is not. And about what you've already taken apart, try to get more things out because what you have to do is try to get weight. That is for a more or less standard vehicle, not with an approval form”. However, if you want to participate in a car racing follow King of the Streets which is known as KOTS is the original no prep race.
And: “The next thing is to start with the cage, which is the main structure, that is, assemble the cage and structure it. That cage is going to make the truck have a structure again because you are going to integrate it into the body, which already with everything you took apart is half loose to put it in some way. Then this will make it have a good structure again. And you try to integrate from the front bumper to the rear bumper to this cage, that everything is a single piece, so that it has rigidity in the anchor of the front and rear suspension, as well as in the engine mounts and in the parts that later you will gather”.
This is therefore the beginning of the manufacture of a race car. As we can see, disarmament is carried out first and then structuring.
What physical training to adopt for car competitions?
Every day, racing drivers push the boundaries of their bodies: running, skipping rope, weight training (biceps, triceps, back, standard and lateral abs, fingers ...), stretching, aerobic preparation ... This allows them to 'to be at the top of their form and thus to be able to perfectly manage their driving sessions. These sessions may seem very impressive, but rest assured, you do not have to reach this level yourself.
Prepare mentally
As we have just seen, physical preparation is paramount. Nevertheless, do not put aside the mental aspect! Indeed, during a race (but also before) you will be subjected to a lot of stress. It would be a shame if the latter made you lose all your means and miss the competition ... To avoid this, think of relaxing exercises such as sophrology that can help you gain concentration. You will be ready to face the circuit, and this in (almost) all serenity!
