The explanation of modest clothing

by Ujjal Pahari SEO Manger

Dressing modestly is the personal choice many people have accepted not only for the religious beliefs but as per their own choice. Regardless of religious values and cultural backgrounds, anyone can have a choice that they prefer modest dresses as the part of their clothing. A teen girl wearing an overly-exposed outfit that is clung to her body is not considered as modest cloth. In many countries, it is not allowed that women expose their body parts excessively. Ribbed jeans that are preferred by maximum teenage boys and young men do not fall into the modest category of clothing. Then what is modest clothing?

Modest clothing includes clothes that not only covers the secret body parts but they are loosely-fitted and do not cling to the body. Modest clothes do not show or overexposed any part of the body. Some religions have strict rules that the followers should maintain the exact dress codes. In some religions, black, brown, white, and blue are considered as modest colors while neon green, orange, and bright pink fabrics are not used by the modest people as they are bright and attract others.

Many people around the world are from the Islamic religion. They follow the thoughts and beliefs of Islam. In this religious thought, women should not wear short dresses and transparent clothes that show their body parts indecently. The dresses they wear must cover the body as much as possible. Skirts should length below the knee and they should avoid tight-fitting clothes. Sleeves of those dresses must be full-sized and thick. Not showing elbow is a strict rule for choosing modest clothing. Abayas are commonly-used Islamic clothing that is long, full-sized, and loose. And maximum women wear it over the casual outfits. Despite Abayas, maxi dresses, kaftan, long gown, skirts, and loosely-fitted trousers are suitable for women who believe and maintain the concept of Islamic clothing.

Orthodox families insist to wear head coverings as well. This headscarf or veil is called hijab. Hijabs are typically designed to cover the head, neck, and chest of a woman. In many Islamic countries, it is common to notice a woman wearing a full-length dress and a head scarf or hijab. With the changing attitude of the people, the rules have become more relaxed and liberal maintaining the decency. However, the modern dressing does not encourage dresses exposing the legs above the knee. There are rules in wearing jewelry and makeup. The makeup should not be as loud as look vulgar and attract others publicly. Sober jewelry, broach, and covered shoes indulge high respect to a Muslim woman.

The rule behind wearing modest clothes is to increase humbleness and humility in a woman that she can keep her safe from sinful thoughts and actions of others. Reversely, many people choose modest clothes as they feel it comfortable while interacting publicly. It is their personal choice that they prefer to wear decent clothes. It does not mean that dressing decently has no style. It is possible to find Islamic clothing that is fashionable and humble. There are many online stores that cater respectable and stylish dresses to the men and women. You have to choose a reputed and experienced team of online designers if you have a precise choice of clothing.
