Education is a macro element in which society depends on to achieve a better living. The other philosophy is the idea that education should focus on the individual child and not the curriculum and the instructor. Students should be encouraged to run tests on the learning content to discern the practicability of those principles. This is an active form of learning which would facilitate the interaction of the student with the learning environment. This method is effective as it exacerbates innovation and new ideas consequently leading to new knowledge. Teachers of science apply progressivism to enable students to apply the scientific theories learned in the classroom in the laboratories.


The quest to create a better society lies with the learning of social reconstructionism. Every element, whether scientific or artistic, cannot exist minus the society. Therefore, teachers need to teach students the art of governance and politics to learn the social system the society is founded on. For BA (Hon.)
