Falling in love is one of the greatest feelings one can experience. However, in a world overflowing with apps like tinder, bumble, and others of their ilk, it is easy to be cynical about love. After all, some argue that apps such as those have taken the experience of love and relationships and washed them down to just physical aspects. Shunning all the essential and life-altering emotions attached to the act. But like the famous actor, Keanu Reeves has said, "Falling in love and having a relationship are two different things." And he is right. Being in a relationship requires effort every day; it asks for more patience and sacrifice from both partners, and due to its intensity, many from the younger generation have become disillusioned with the concept of love. It does not hold the same significance as it did for the previous ones. This is also partly because our interpretation and understanding of what love is supposed to be, has changed drastically since the introduction of these apps. It has become frivolous and even at times unkind. We have become materialistic; our judgment and feelings are based solely on the individual’s appearance or things they can offer. We have started to think too much and feel too little. We have allowed ourselves to be shut and consumed by that small convenient machinery we carry in our pockets all the time; it has given us abundance and ease but has left us in the never-ending void of want. And it has in the past decades also transformed what love is supposed to be, feel and look like. Now, the blame does not lie in just how corporations have altered our concept of love, after all, one cannot clap with just one hand. Meaning we too are to be blamed. We are the ones who have played into the narrative that the way you look will decide if you can love or be loved. What you earn will decide if you are worth dating or being with or not.

Nonetheless, it’s not all bad; there is light at the end of this darkened love tunnel. There is hope in love and its power. Sometimes, on those rare occasions when the stars align for two individuals, love can actually be found. Not love that is fleeting and breeds nothing but contempt when things don’t work out, but a love that can last a lifetime and shatter the norms, as well as the expectations society, has forced upon us all.

However, there is an example of how the dating game has changed and how love has the ability to transcend things like rules, regulations, and even strict royal etiquette. I speak, of course, of the almost magical love story of The Duke & Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markel. Their story is an excellent example for all to adhere to because years ago, a prince dating or marrying an actress was considered taboo by most, if not all, people. After all, his great, great uncle King Edward VIII was also put in a precarious position by the entire country when he chose to marry a divorced woman from the United States. Edward VIII had to abdicate the throne in order to wed the love of his life, and though he was only sixth in line for the throne, the young prince has done something similar to his relative. Giving up on his royal duties, royalty, and all the perks that come attached with it in order to be with the woman he loves. Duchess Meghan’s and Prince Harry’s love story has paved the way for many in relationships that are frowned upon or considered ill-suited for individuals.

Watching their interviews makes it evident that when Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, met Prince Harry, it was like the start of something out of a Damien Chazelle movie. Theirs is a story worthy of a fairytale that will surpass even Harry’s mother’s tale with the doctor. That is why when it is encompassed in an immaculately written book, this story has the potential to entrance the soul and enamor the mind. It’s called "Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry Inspired Asking, Someone For A Date, Made Extremely Easy." It is by far one of the best true love storybooks out there, one that also has practical benefits. Not only does the book extensively explain Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry’s love story, but it plays on that and encourages us, the average joe, to pursue the ones we want to be with, damned be the world and the consequences. Not to mention it is written so beautifully that every page turned and every word read, only entices the reader to delve further into this real-life romantic tale. However, as magical as their romance is like all good love stories, they too faced a plethora of problems, any one of which could’ve sent them their separate ways. First, their bond created distance between Prince Harry & Charles’s relationship. The book covers this point immaculately and in great detail.

After that was resolved, Duchess Meghan and Prince Henry Charles, as he’s formally known, had to contend with the world and their objections as well as their unwarranted opinions.

But like most star-crossed lovers who genuinely want to be with each other, they chose to face their problems head-on. They stood by each other even in the direst of circumstances. Duchess Meghan & Prince Harry’s love story truly transcends the puppy love most young ones go through nowadays. Their love shattered societal expectations whilst proving to the cynic hiding in us all that love can and does conquer many a great problem.

So, if you want to know what free, raw & unbound love looks like, read Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry’s love book. Not to mention it’s got helpful tips for those looking to plunge back head-first into the dating game.
