Right now as in 5.0.4, before MoP it's probably worth it to go towards Hit/Exp cap. However, for Mists itself it looks like only a bit of thought should be given to Hit/Exp, with Mastery still being king for physical damage and Stamina being king for magic damage fights. Arms thunderclap spreads deep wounds and has sweeping strikes that hits 1 more target for wow gold. There is also overpower glyph that makes your overpower 20% stronger when you hit with cleave but that is no aoe, it's just aoe buffing single target. Arms would do better aoe at, say, warmaster whereas fury would do better aoe for tank in 5.0.4.
Increase hit and exp. you will generate more rage by hitting the target and generate more threat by hitting the targets. The stat weights are a bit different but you will end up out DPS'ing most people in your raid until they put a hot fix on the damage multiplier on revenge.
There's quite a few, and a lot of misinformation going around on the forums here as well. I'd recommend you go to MMO Champion and Tankspot, there are some really good for wow mop gold Prot Warrior guides there.
Really though, it looks like nobody can agree on anything. Most of the guides written by prominent Warriors that I've seen recommend still going Mastery heavy and not going for Hit/Expertise and Stamina like some of the people here recommend; in fact I have yet to see that advice given anywhere outside of these forums so I doubt the credibility of that advice.
The best aoe thread 5.0.4 tank in fury has better aoe damage, bladestorm for large packs and ww +raging blow to multiple targets is awesome damage. Arms in superior for single target, because fury is addicted to enrage. For the current endgame raid aoe is not that important and arms still has the advantage on damage.
