Love is a fascinating experience which eludes many, those who have fallen in love or been hurt by it badly often read such novels to know about others’ experiences with love and tries to adapt themselves according to the main hero of this genre. There are many new-bread best female Indian authors who are making it big by adapting different styles of their own and some from western culture. People anticipate the novels from some of these writers, especially the college students for whom the feeling of love and romance is very fresh and tender. These writers with their writings always seek to create boastful place in the minds of young India.

From the above mentioned word, it makes us very clear that this genre is unique and interesting as compared to all existing genres like fiction, literature, horror, history and many more. In this genre, Indian writers are able to strike a chord with the Indian youth who love the lucidity of the language and are able to relate to the scenario depicted in the books. A romantic novel not only showcases romantic relationship between two people but sometimes some other subplots are also involved in it, thereby enhancing the interest of the readers. But the core theme of the novel about romance remains the same.

· One such major fact is that, we Indians are born romantics which is why so many Indian writers have succeeded in writing books and novels that have romance and love at the central point.
