by Mack Richie Freelance Writer

Without doubts, the active roles that legends in science and technology have played over the centuries cannot be over-emphasized. Amongst all, Nikola Tesla now has his name written in gold through his immense contribution to humanity in the area of technology, economics, medical, art and science.

As a way to celebrate the success of Tesla, most especially on its positive effects on the education sector, Tesla Science Foundation (TSF) has been established to promote scientific learning as a new culture in schools and colleges. According to its official website, it's been stated that the non-profit organization seeks to spearhead a campaign toward the recognition and general awareness of all the patents, inventions, lectures, and scientific theories of Nikola Tesla.

As of today, the greatest mission of the organization is to provide learning opportunities for the young ones. To that effect, it holds year-round Tesla assembly classes from K-12 to college levels. It's generally believed that science is a major bedrock of civilization and technological developments, and thus, there is the need to ensure qualitative education in this present age. All hands must be on desk to provide a good learning environment for young learners, and this can be enhanced by connecting with resource persons in the society. TSF is bringing science education to the doorstep of American children and youths.

In all, Tesla Science Foundation is already creating a nationwide awareness on its educational goal as the organization sets forth with its coaching classes, which some leading US educationists fondly refer to as a Catch Them Young initiative. The Tesla assembly classes would help the young ones to develop their interest in science and art, and at the same time, learn the spirit of Nikola Tesla, that is, the drive for excellence and human-oriented pursuits.

Furthermore, in conjunction with Tesla Magazine and Tesla Vision, Tesla Science Foundation will be celebrating an event tagged Tesla Days: Energy Independence Celebration; and it will come up in Philadelphia on 9th through 10th July, 2014. The event will feature the presentation of papers by seasoned scientists, academic scholars, and independent researchers. Energy Independence Celebration will as well feature an expo at Independence National Historic Park; the exhibition will not attract any premium charge as the event organizer would provide free booths to exhibitors.

All keynote presentations are meant to provide answers to pertinent questions related to Tesla technology in terms of practical applications in our world. Amongst other issues, there are speculations that Tesla technology has the potential to spark a new flame of industrial renaissance, and it is very important to study this field so as to come up with innovations that would help improve on our quality of life.
