Telangana Police Recruitment 2016 – Exam Pattern, Syllabus and Selection Process

The state government of Telangana has liberated a notification for Telangana Police Recruitment by the Police Recruitment Board. The notification has released for 871 vacant seats for different posts namely, SCT (Stipendiary Cadet Trainee) Police Constables, SI (Sub Inspector) and TS Police. Paper-1 : Arithmetic Reasoning and Mental Ability (All questions will be of SSC Level)

Paper-2 : General Studies (including General Science, Current Affairs, Indian History, Geography, Telangana History, Indian Politics & Economy etc.)

Paper-3 : English (including descriptive questions like Letter, Report and Paragraph Writing of graduation level)

Paper-4 : Urdu / Telgu (To test Telgu/ Urdu Proficiency)

Selection Process for Telangana Police Recruitment 2016:

Candidate who’ll be eligible for any of the posts in Telangana Police Recruitment have to pass multiple levels to get selection. These levels include, Preliminary Written Test, Physical Measurements Test (PMT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Final Written Examination, Marks weight age and Personal Interview.

Selection process in Physical Measurements Test (PMT) will be different for male and female candidates. A female candidate will need to run 100m in two times whereas the male candidate will need to run 800m race.After clearing these steps, the document verification and police verification will take place for each and every candidate.
