Take proper steps to take care of your mobile LCD screens

The mobile market today is flooded with touch screens. This easy to use feature of the phone enables the user to apply less pressure on the phone. Until a few years ago, it was the buttons that dominated the market but now the scenario has changed; most of the people now prefer to go for touch screen phones instead.

In spite of the widespread popularity of such phones there is also one problem that most of the people talk about and that is the scratch that they get on the screens. The problem is quite common and happens due to mishandling of the phone and also due to lack of proper knowledge on how to handle a touch screen. There are a few simple steps applying which can get you rid of the frequent changing of your touch screens.

Most of us have the habit of changing the display light of our mobiles as soon as we purchase a new phone. This is a very wrong technique as doing this automatically reduces the warranty period of the manufacturer from where you purchased it. Moreover, there is also a possibility of the phone getting damaged as the LCD screen is not the original one anymore.

Keeping the LCD of the phone in suppressing condition for a long time can reduce the performance of the phone. There is a delicate layer of liquid that is placed over the phone. Keeping it in distressed conditions will definitely hamper the phone. Instead of keeping it in the pocket, it is always better to keep it in a covered case. Many leather cases are also available in the market these days that prevents your phone from getting damaged when it falls to ground accidentally or due to any other reasons.

 Exposure of the phone to sunlight for prolonged periods also damages the screen to a large extent due to the harmful ultraviolet rays. Hence, the user should try to avoid keeping the phone in extreme climatic conditions, whether in extreme heat or cold.

All of us have a habit of wiping the touch screen with nails, rather than the fingers. Using nails causes scratches in the phone and it also deactivates the sensors. Using excessive pressure on the screen is also responsible for hampering the quality of the screen. Research shows that keeping touch screen phones near radios and televisions is quite dangerous as they contain magnetic field. Due to the exposure of the phone to such devices, the power sensitivity is reduced to a large extent.

When it comes to cleaning, one should always clean the screen with a soft gentle cloth. Though there is no separate cleaning agent that is available in the market for cleaning mobile LCD, but using a solution which is a mixture of vinegar and water can prove to be very effective.

During rainy season it is always better to carry a small plastic or a tissue paper along with yourself so that you can protect the mobile phone LCD screen from coming in contact with water.
