The popular commercial town of Punjab, known for its hosiery, Ludhiana is one of the largest cities in the state. It is a coming metropolitan city and gain popularity for its malls and cineplexes. .

After Ludhiana trip, head to Amritsar not just to feel the aura of Golden Temple, also to witness the historic Jallianwal Bagh and Wagah border. The city was found in the 16th century by the fourth Sikh guru, Ram Das. Golden Temple is the holiest shrine of Sikhism. Though Punjab is a little-visited state but Amritsar is widely visited by devotees and general tourists throughout the year. The temple complex is open for 24 hours a day. Jallianwala Bagh, Ram Bagh and Gobindgarh Fort and Wagah border are other important places to visit in Amritsar.
