Karen Diane Supon of Martinsville and Terry Wayne Doyle of Edgemoor, S.C., were married on May 5 on the beach at Myett’s in Cane Garden Bay, Tortola, British Virgin Islands.

The bride is the daughter of Dianna Murphy of Ridgeway and John Supon of Hazelton, Pa. She is the granddaughter of Delia B. Martin and the late John W. Martin and the late Frank Supon and Ester Supon.

The bridegroom is the son of the late Richard W. Doyle Sr. and JoAnn B. Doyle, who had lived in Ridgeway. He is the grandson of the late Henry Richard Doyle, Mary Virginia McMillan Doyle, John L. Blackmon and Athalene L. Blackmon.

The bride was escorted by Don "Cowboy" Murney of St. Matthews, S.C. She wore a strapless chiffon overlay-on-satin gown with crystal embellishments and a mid-length train. She carried a bouquet of white, teal and coral roses and baby’s breath.

Abby Young of Cane Garden Bay was the maid of honor. She wore a coral chiffon-over-satin dress, and she carried a bouquet similar to that of the bride.

Fiona D’Ancona of Jersey, Channel Islands, was the bridesmaid. Her dress and bouquet were similar to those of the maid of honor.

Kevin J. Wenk of Cane Garden Bay was the best man, and Don "Cowboy" Murney was the groomsman.

The reception was held at Myett’s Ocean Front.

The couple took a honeymoon in Half Moon Cay, Bahamas, Grand Turk, Turks and Caicos.

They live in Edgemoor.The bride is a 1988 graduate of Fieldale-Collinsville High School, a 2004 graduate of Patrick Henry Community College in administration of justice and a 2012 graduate of Old Dominion University in psychology and human services. She is the president and owner of TJC Painting Contractors Inc.

The bridegroom is a 1984 graduate of Drewry Mason High School. He is the supply analyst and in charge of project procurement for TJC Painting Contractors Inc.

The couple were honored on May 4 at Myett’s with a rehearsal dinner hosted by Abby Young and Kevin Wenk.

On May 9, the couple had a wedding confirmation ceremony at Stone Memorial Christian Church in Collinsville with the Rev. Tim Woods, followed by a reception at Hugo’s hosted by Karen and Jerry Tiller, John Martin Sr. and Ramona Walker.
