SUPER CONVENIENT TIPS FOR GARMIN NUVI GPS

The tips we are going to tell you in this write up is common for all Garmin Nuvi GPS models. In case, you possess, new model Nuvi or Garmin models other than Nuvi, the tips may slightly differ for your device. For details regarding how to disable or enable maps and how to look for different locations, please, refer to the owner's manual.

To navigate, you can adopt the following methods:

- Street Intersection

- City

- Selecting position on the map

- POI (Point of Intersect)

- Latitude & Longitude

- Saved waypoints

Before you navigate to any location, perform the following procedure:

- From main screen of GPS, choose Tools > Settings > Map > Map. After then, you will find that all the maps (including the new one) will be installed on your device. Deselect all other maps, except one that you wish to see

- Simply press '-' or '+' icon to zoom in or out of a location. 'Zoom in' to check more information or 'Zoom out' to see larger areas

- To see the map of the country you are not located in:

From the main screen, select 'Where to?', then click on ''Near...'', select 'A Different City' then hit OK.

After then, type the number of the city you want to check, then click on 'Browse Map' and then you will be able to

see the maps

- To confirm new map update in your Garmin Nuvi Device, select 'View Map' from the main screen, then touch '-' button to zoom out completely. To see a country you last updated to, browse through the map. By browsing the map, you can then see the map and location. For more help, you may use Garmin Tech Support for the live assistance.
