Life!!!
Camping life, that is. :)
It was an awesome weekend. My wife works 5 days a week, mostly from 4pm to 10pm, any day of the week including weekends. This was the first weekend in the 3 months she started that job that she did NOT work on Saturday and Sunday. Since my own day job is from Monday to Wednesday, I can do anything I want on Fridays. I called my boss, explained my wife went back to work this afternoon, so I could take today off.
The camping has a little river, no more than 3 feet deep, and that's only for a short part, the rest is mostly 1 foot of less, so a little floating canoe is a very funny ride on it. With campfires at night, marshmallows, hundreds of children running around, it was a perfect family weekend.
My and son Dave got sunburns in the back of our necks, nothing serious, just a bit annoying. We had brought mosquito repellant, and that was useful. There was a thunderstorm last night, but we still were able to do our campfire between rain showers, the rest of the weekend was perfect.

She is only 3 1/2 and such a lady. She began talking at 13 months and has not stopped. She is a sponge and loves to learn just like her Gamma. We always have a great time together. :-) Thank you for asking.

It sounds blissful. I am so happy that you had the chance to get away with your family. I got to go to a cousin's wedding on Saturday and then visit my aunt for about 4 hours. Sunday was a play day with my little Grand Daughter Lilly so this weekend was a good one for me too. We all need to find something to unwind with when the spring gets twisted too tight. >lol< Glad your back Philippe but even more glad you had a great time.

I'm in awe!!! My day was spent traveling to Montgomery county. The temp here is 93 and very humid. When you go under ground to get the trains it is like an oven.... I NEED A CAMPING TRIP!!!!! On a serious note I am glad you got some time away from daily life for awhile. I am sure you feel refreshed and ready to go....
