Succinic Acid, CAS number 110-15-6, E number E363, used as food acidity regulator. accepted as safe food acidulent in many food products. Succinic Acid is a dicarboxylic acid manufactured through hydrogenation of maleic acid, oxidation of 1,4-butanediol or carbonylation of ethylene glycol, available as White Crystal Powder.

General Side Effects

diarrhea, constipation, stomach upset, nausea and darkened or green stools.

Suggested Dosage

As Succinic Acid is widely known as safe, there is no limit on dosage of intake. However, we still recommend consumers to consult professionals before using large quantity of Succinic Acid for long period.
