When it comes to clothes we all have made insensible decisions that we always regret. From holding onto clothes that never get worn to panic buying pieces that won’t have more than one outing. Seems like we all have made guilty decisions when it comes to buying clothes but it doesn’t have to be that way.

Here are some wardrobe resolutions you need to take so that you save money and look the best you ever have.

1. Get to know your wardrobe inside out

Knowing what’s there in your wardrobe already will give you a clear idea about what clothes you should spend money. What’s the point of spending money on clothes you already have? This way you’ll buy something new and different. Probably something your wardrobe hasn’t seen before. 

2. Don’t buy something just for one time

We all have those dresses which we’ve worn only once or twice. Guilty! Heading somewhere fun makes us feel like we need something new and different to wear and we end up buying something which rarely gets more than one outing. So the key is to have a few dressier yet versatile pieces in your wardrobe. If you wear something classier with the right accessories it can never go wrong.

3. Don’t buy something that doesn’t suit you

 Most of the time we buy something because it’s in trend. Holding onto pieces that don’t suit you isn’t a great way of styling yourself. Let go of every clothing piece that doesn’t suit you unless it’s a sweatshirt. Sweatshirts for women are easy and cool to style on. On the other hand if a piece doesn’t make you happy or confident, it shouldn’t be in your life.

4. Don’t keep something that doesn’t fit you anymore

It’s obvious that you hold onto clothing items that don’t fit you anymore hoping that one day they will. Also, you often tend to buy clothes in a size too small as an incentive to lose weight or because we are getting it on sale for too cheap and they don’t have the actual size. The bottom line is you shouldn’t hold onto clothes that you physically can’t wear, the worst thing you can opt for if you’re making space in the wardrobe.
