Keele University was the first entirely new university in
the United Kingdom when it was established in the early 20th century. More than
70% of Keele's undergraduate students choose to pursue dual honors degrees,
which were initially offered by the institution. The 10,000 undergraduate
students at the university come from about 120 different countries, and almost
all of them have the opportunity to study for a semester at one of its 80
partner universities.
In terms of student satisfaction, Keele consistently ranks
among the top three. Keele University's 600 acres of lakes, parks, and forests
make up its campus. The focal point of the property is Keele Hall, a
nineteenth-century Grade II listed building.
The past
Established in 1949, Keele University is located in
Staffordshire, England. Keele is midway between Birmingham and Manchester, just
a short distance from the cities of Newcastle-under-Lyme and Stoke-on-Trent,
and 20 miles from the Peak District, a charming national park renowned for its
scenic splendor. It is regarded as the biggest campus in the nation and
features a few notable structures along with a science park.
According to the National Student Survey, Keele consistently
ranks among the top ten colleges in the country, and its student union is among
the finest in the country for the variety of events it offers. The Daily
Telegraph named Keele University's campus the sixth most attractive in the

International students can find a cozy and friendly
environment at Keele. Numerous cultural events are planned and celebrated
throughout the year. The institution runs a dance studio, a single-court gym, a
wellness center, two sports halls that meet national standards, and a climbing
wall. Additionally, it is the first university in the nation to keep the entire
"Kinesis" gym operational.
Over ninety percent of students graduate from the
university. To enhance its activities outside of the traditional academic
realm, the institution established a fellowship college in 2011. Currently, it
is run by graduates in business, media, and important stakeholder management
from all around Staffordshire. A large and diverse group of the university's
alumni are in positions of leadership in renowned and respectable companies.

universities in the UK, and the university's extensive extracurricular program

Keele was in highly exclusive company in the most recent
edition of the Times Higher Education Global University Rankings. Research
Excellence Framework (REF) 2021 results showed that 80% of Keele's work was
rated as either internationally excellent or world-leading, an increase of 75%
from the last REF in 2014.

University of Keele Scholarships
This grant is available to international undergraduate
students studying a variety of courses. However, Keele University's medical
programs are not subject to it. The candidates need to meet the requirements
for eligibility. The annual study value will be £2,500.
Global Scholarships for 2023
Keele University has released a number of new scholarship
possibilities for students who are self-funded. The intriguing thing is that
students can apply for these Keele scholarships without having to do it
individually. These tuition cost reductions will be automatically granted to
students who satisfy the eligibility requirements.
Scholarships for Keele International Excellence
Undergraduate Program
This grant is available to international undergraduate
students studying a variety of courses. Programs in medicine are not subject to
it, though. The candidates need to meet the requirements for eligibility. The
annual study value will be £2,500.
This award is also available to students who are interested
in the Keele Foundation Year course. Of course, there are some requirements for
eligibility.
For qualified applicants, the university may combine this
prize with the Keele Developing Countries Scholarship.
postgraduate instruction
This award covers a variety of disciplines from postgraduate
teaching programs. However, only those enrolled in studies in physiotherapy and
medicine are not allowed. One-time tuition price rebates, valued at up to
£5,000, are offered to

If you qualify, the university may combine this grant with
the Keele Alumni Discount and the Keele Developing Countries Scholarship.
Discount for Keele Alumni
This option may be available to graduates of Keele
University's online courses as well as those who completed their courses on
campus. A 20% tuition fee reduction is available to them. This cost reduction
will also apply to students who have taken Keele exchange courses in the past
or who have finished a study abroad program. It is important for students to be
aware that the university has the ability to combine this award with other
Keele scholarships. The 20% discount will be applied following the application
of all other award discounts.
Fellowship for Developing Nations
The World Bank lists the least developed, low-income, and
lower-middle-income nations as of December 2018. These nations' students are
eligible to receive £1,000 in study abroad prizes each year.
If any students meet the eligibility requirements, the
university may combine this scholarship with the other Keele awards. Keele

The International Student Support Team at Keele University
is in charge of setting up the Meet and Greet program for incoming freshmen
each year. A variety of initiatives are available to help foreign students get
to know one another and discover other countries. Prior to Welcome Week,
there's an international orientation that tries to assist students in adjusting
to living abroad in UK. International students
have two options in addition to general study: a foundation year that includes
English language instruction and pre-sessional English classes, which run up to
12 weeks before the start of the semester.

Academic Life
The campus of Keele University is located a short distance
from Stoke-on-Trent, a bustling and reasonably priced town, and just ten
minutes from Newcastle-under-Lyme. Both towns have a variety of venues to eat,
shop, and enjoy entertainment. In addition to the many cafés, restaurants,
bars, and clubs in Stoke-on-Trent and the neighboring town of Newcastle, there
is a thriving student community around the school.
About 45 minutes distant is Alton Towers, the biggest theme
park in the UK, while Trentham has exquisite gardens and upscale stores. Just
20 miles from Keele lies the stunning Peak District National Park, which gives
students the chance to engage in outdoor activities and pastimes. Pottery
museums, art galleries, Premier football—Stoke-on-Trent has it all when it
comes to entertainment and culture.
Accommodation
For overseas students applying before the deadline for
undergraduate admission, campus housing is assured. Over 2,800 students can
choose from a range of on-campus housing options, including traditional, en
suite, and apartments, to meet a range of budgets. There are regular and en
suite rooms available, as well as the option of catering.
Keele has an on-campus team that offers accommodations.
Activities, community social areas, and laundry facilities are also offered.
Students in need of help with off-campus housing can also get it from the Keele
accommodation team.
Location
Newcastle-under-Lyme can easily access Keele University's
Staffordshire campus. Situated in a strategic mid-country location, it takes
less than two hours to reach London and little over an hour to reach Manchester
and Birmingham. A collection of English cities and towns with a long history of
ceramic production stretching back to the Industrial Revolution are
collectively referred to as the "Potteries."
