Steps to Travel by Shire Shuttle Service with Your Dog

by William Jones manager

Your pooch is definitely not going to like it if you travel without taking him with you. It’s much stressful for them to stay at home, alone. If this is making you sad because you don’t think you will be able to give your pooch a ride, fret not. Travelling with canine members can seem more of a challenge to pet owners. A lot of times it has been noticed that pet owners get in a fix when cab services refuse to take in their dogs. However nowadays, people have got a little more lenient towards pets and hence some restaurants and hotels have opened up keeping four-legged guests in mind. They are now offering accommodation to the four-legged. You must be thinking whether there are pet-friendly transportation options available? Of course there are!

Come allow your pooch to join in with you

Before you take your pet for a ride, it is important that you follow certain norms in order to ensure that both your pooch and the driver get along well during the journey. These are guidelines you will need to follow:

1) Most importantly you will require calling up the driver and inform him that you are going to share the ride with your pet. You need making this call way ahead of time in order to understand whether the diver is okay travelling with your pooch. Waiting for the last minute assuming that the driver will accept your four legged family member can turn out really embarrassing as he may refuse taking both of you. Call up the shire shuttle service and inform on what you wish to do when the car comes to pick you up.

2) Flaunt off how well behaved or trained your dog really is. Before the cab arrives at your location train your puppy to sit decently beside you. A well behaved dog will get along with the driver. Drivers feel comfortable when pets are calmer.

3) Carry a towel along with you. Dogs have this innate habit of digging holes or shedding fur which may annoy the person driving the car. If your dog sheds way too much or has a tendency to dig up a hole into the seat, chances are rare that the driver will allow you to continue enjoying the ride.

4) Bring along the carrier if you want. A small sized dog is easier to carry as they can swiftly accommodate into a carrier. A lot of drivers have least problems with dogs when they are especially carried in a basket or a carrier.

5) make sure you appreciate the driver’s kind approach towards you and your pet. Carrying pets is more of a concern as drivers don’t usually allow them except a few offering Sutherland shire shuttle. In order to show your gratefulness to a driver who has accepted your pet, give him a token of appreciation. Simply offer him a tip as a way of telling him how much you appreciate his kindness.

Make sure you follow these guidelines before taking your pooch with you on a ride.
