Requirements:

Liquid portion of eggs without yolks, vanilla extract, almond extract, edible oil, flour, cornstarch, pinch of salt.

Steps of making a fortune cookie:


1. The first & important part of making custom fortune cookies is by making strips of fortunes, anything that you wish for. The dimensions of the paper strips should be around three inch in length & half inch in breadth. You may need as much strips as the number of cookies you want to make.

2. The next step is of preheating the oven to about 150 degree Celsius. At the time the oven is being heated, you can continue with the other task remaining.

3. Beat egg white with almond & vanilla extracts in a bowl until it gets properly mixed up.

4. The main ingredient of personalized custom cookies is the flour & cornstarch, which should be beaten with the mixture of eggs & extracts well to make a smooth batter to be cooked.

5. Place separate tablespoons of batter on the cookie sheet & spread it around to two three inches in diameter for each cookie.

6. Bake the batter for custom fortune cookies for about 15 minutes until the upper surface becomes golden brown.

7. Remove them using a spatula & pale a fortune strip into each of the cookie.

8. Fold the cookies into half & then stretch the edges downward over the rim of a spoon or a glass so that it takes the approximate shape of a fortune cookie.

The personalized touch can also be added in the form of toppings of chocolate layers or jelly with some sparkling edible silver beads to give another attractive appeal to the cookie.
