SSC JE Exam 2015 in December

SSC JE 2015 Important dates:

Following are the important dates for various events related to SSC JE 2015 exam:

• Issue of Notification regarding the exam: 11th July 2015

• Last date of filling of part I of Application Form: 10th August 2015

• Last date of filling of part II of Application Form: 13th August 2015

• Date of release of Admit card: November 2015

• Date of written Examination: 6th December 2015

SSC JE 2015 Application Form Details:

SSC has released the Application Form on its website. Candidates can fill the form online by vviisting the official website of SSC . There will be three stages of filling of Applicxation Form for SSC JE 2015:

Part 1: candidates will have to furnish all their details regarding educational qualification and other details
Fee Payment: After filling the first part of the Application Form, a chalan will be generated through which the candidates will have to pay their requisite Application Form fee by visiting the bank.

Part 2: After paying the Fee they will need to furnish the chalan details to complete the Application Form filling procedure.

SSC JE 2015 Application Fee details

Candidates must pay the application fee of Rs.100 which can be paid either through online or offline mode.

• Online mode – Through the SBI net banking facility by entering password, user ID and transaction ID.

• Offline mode – Through the SBI challan which has to be deposited at any nearby branch of State Bank of India.

Women, SC, ST, PwD and Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempted from Application fee.

Getting a Junior Engineer post in a department under the control of Government of India is proud moment. The candidate must also know the departments of the Government for which it brings out the vacancies every year. Following are the posts for which the GOI brings out vacancies to be filled through SSC JE 2015 Exam:

• Junior Engineer in Civil and Electrical Department of Central Public Works Department  (CPWD) as well as Department of posts (DoP)

• Junior Engineer in Civil, Electrical and Mechanical Department in Border Roads Organization under Ministry of Defense

• Junior Engineer in Electrical and Mechanical as well as in Quantity Surveying & Contract In Military Engineering Services (MES)

• Junior Engineer in Civil and Mechanical Department in Central Water Commission (CWC) and Farakka Barrage

Educational Qualification Details:

The candidates must also know the Educational qualification criteria before filling up the Application Form because for every department mentioned above, the qualification are different.  Here is the comprehensive information regarding the Educational Qualification:

• For JE (Civil) in BRO – At least three years diploma in CE from a recognized University or B.Tech. Degree in Civil Engineering added to two years’ work experience in construction

• For JE (Electrical & Mechanical) in BRO – same as above

• For JE (Civil & Electrical) in CPWD – Diploma in Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University.

• For JE (Civil & Electrical) in DoP – 3 years diploma or equivalent in Civil or Electrical Engineering.

• For JE (QS & C) in MES –3 years Diploma in Civil engineering from a recognized institute/University/Board or equivalent
• For JE (Civil & Mechanical) in CWC and Farakka Barrage – Degree or Diploma in Civil or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University or Institution.
  

• For JE (Civil) in MES – Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University

• For JE (Electrical & Mechanical) in MES – Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University.
